Sequence Of Operation
After the blanks are loaded vertically onto the machine, one carton blank is stripped from the magazine through vacuum cups. As the carton is moved to the erecting position it is pushed along a plough to pre-break the carton. As it reaches the drop position, a pneumatically actuated arm pushes the opposite corner, erecting it and over-squaring it. The carton naturally bounces back into the open and locked position. Once erected, the carton is dropped onto the discharge conveyor for transport out of the machine. |
